Do I need to know HTML or any other programming language?
No, absolutely not! If you're familiar with Microsoft Word, and know what a keyboard and mouse are, you'll do fine!

Am I expected to pay hosts?
No. The right hosts will invite friends because they WANT to share your product with them. We suggest that you send hosts a house party kit with everything they need to organize their party. Hosts want to help their friends – and you make that easy by providing a sample, certificate, or swag bags they are eager to pass along. On a budget? Consider exclusive web-based extras.

Are parties right for every company?
No. Your product or service must be something that people get excited about and can see themselves organizing a party for. A new song by their favorite artist -- no problem. A cemetery plot on the edge of town -- not too festive. Obviously, most products fall somewhere between these two extremes. PartyLaunch can help you evaluate whether your product or service is right for house party marketing.

Do I have to recruit hosts or manage parties?
Not if you don’t want to. Subscriptions include everything you need to launch your party site and manage your party program. Optionally, PartyLaunch can manage every aspect of events – from setting a theme to recruiting hosts to managing the party day. We can handle all the details or organize a "quick start" training program to guide your team. Or, turn to our partner directory to locate agencies and consultants who can integrate your party program into your word of mouth marketing plan.

How much does optional full service party management cost?

How does PartyLaunch work with my existing website?
You can simply link your party site to your existing website. You can upload a banner to match your existing look at no additional cost with monthly subscriptions or we can match your site's existing look for a one-time fee.

How does PartyLaunch work with advertising agencies?
See our partner directory for agencies and consultants with a special interest in house parties. Since our staff has extensive experience brainstorming party concepts, PartyLaunch often handles the creative aspects of the party site. However, we are happy to work with or through ad agencies, and often rely upon the agency for brand and product expertise. In some situations, the ad agency handles account management and manages the PartyLaunch project for you. We're happy to work directly with you or with your advertising agency.

What if I want to organize events instead of parties?
No problem. You can change “parties” to a word that better describes your plan. Sneak Previews, Taste Testing, Play Date – you’re only limited by your imagination.

How do I select the right subscription level for my organization?
PartyLaunch offers subscription packages designed to serve the needs of different groups. The key differences are the number of events included in the subscription and the features your subscription includes. Please see this chart for a comparison. We also offer special pricing for non-profits and advocacy organizations.

If I pick a design when I create my site, and then later, want to change it, is that possible?
Sure is! You can change designs, add photos or logos, and edit content easily.

Can I use my own domain name?
Sure! Just contact us and let us know your domain name, or let us know what domain name you would like. To setup a domain you already own, we charge a $100 one-time setup fee. To purchase and set up a domain name you haven't registered for yet, we charge the $100 one-time setup fee, plus $20/year for the domain name.
